Dubrovnik

City-monument, the most beautiful and the most famous Croatian city. Once a famous Dubrovnik Republic, the city was a powerful rival of Venice in the fight over the sea rule. Today it still continues to rival Venice with its beauty and charming atmosphere. It would be really hard to single out the most fascinating piece of architecture.

The Franciscan and the Dominican monastery, the Cathedral, the Rector's Palace, Stradun, grand City walls and St. Blaise's Church, each of these impressive buildings deserves attention and admiration.

Cavtat

Only 20 kilometers more south from Dubrovnik centre, on the Dubrovnik Riviera, a picturesque town called Cavtat is one of the most popular resorts for a classical holiday or a successful meeting. In the ancient times, Cavtat was a Greek settlement known as Epidaurum, so its cultural life and historical tradition is thereby enriched.

Among the attractions of Cavtat are the Rector's Palace, the Baroque church of St. Nikola, the Franciscan monestery, the Bogišić's scientific collection, the Vlaho Bukovac Art Gallery, the Račić Mausoleum, designed by a famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović, archaeological sites of the pre-Slav period, city walls, the Šipun cave etc. Cavtat also offers a 7 km promenade by pine forests paths only a few meters from the sea.

Korčula island

A historical town of Korčula is known as the birthplace of a famous seafarer Marco Polo. The town will fascinate you with the beautiful historical core, narrow stone streets, museums and churches.

Korčula is the town of a long-cherished cultural heritage and one of the most visited destinations on the Adriatic coast. It is famous for the unique and exciting traditional dances "Moreška" and "Kumpanija".
