"A Day of Love" is a story about man's eternal wish to find ideal love. Based upon a pastoral play by Dubrovnik's most renowned playwright Marin Drzic (16th century) this melo-comedy with a general happy-end (the protagonists finally couple up in happy marriage to immense joy of all) has had audiences on their feet every evening so far and is accounted as the most successful production of the Dubrovnik Theatre in its entire history.

Laid upon wonderful, chanting, melodious musical numbers and the masterfully choreographed dancing numbers, all clad in modern costumes (by a fashion, not by a costume designer), the 'Day of Love' has been acclaimed by domestic and international audiences alike. The quality of the production has been also tested in Sarajevo, Split, Metkovic, in Slovenia (Ljubljana, Bled), to unanimous acclaim.
