WALKING TOUR OF NATIONAL PARK MLJET

Walking tour begins in Pomena, the entrance to the "Mljet" National Park. A 20 minute walk brings us to two salt water lakes which are unique to the island. They are a great place to take a swim and enjoy the warm water the lakes offer. Relax under a pine tree whose branches reach down into the water. After a short boat ride the island of Melita (St. Mary) is reached – on island within an island – explore the Benedictine monastery.
